Martin Bellamy is an independent solar photovoltaics (PV) specialist who provides training, product design and strategic business support to PV manufacturers, industry suppliers, and the international investment sector.
Martin has over 30 years of practical engineering experience, with the last 20 working directly within the PV industry. His specialist areas are the design of stand-alone energy solutions, the development of flexible Thin-Film PV, and Developing World energy markets.
He has designed and implemented complex stand-alone PV systems for urban environments, extreme climates and highly specialised applications. His business support includes IPO, start-up and expansion strategies.
Martin holds an honours degree in engineering physics and is chartered as a physicist, engineer and scientist. He has originated 11 patent applications relating to PV technology.
